Weekly Theme: Tolerance, The Strength of Godly Love

πŸ“– Colossians 3:13 (NKJV)

β€œBearing with one another, and forgiving one another… even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.”

My Dear Children,
One of the greatest assets in our world today is tolerance. We live in a fast, digital age where almost everything is just a click away. Because of this, impatience has quietly become the new normal. When things delay, when people disappoint us, or when others do not grow at our pace, we quickly lose patience.

Yet real love, real growth, and strong families are built through tolerance. Tolerance means giving others time to learn, room to grow, and grace to make mistakes. It is choosing patience over anger and understanding over judgment.

God shows us the perfect example of tolerance through His unconditional love. If God did not tolerate us, forgive us, and patiently guide us, none of us would stand. His love reminds us that tolerance is not weakness, it is strength shaped by love.

Relevance to Life and Family
In our homes, tolerance helps us live peacefully with one another. Parents learn to guide with patience, children learn through grace, and families grow stronger when mistakes are met with love instead of harshness.

Teaching our children tolerance prepares them for a world that is fast, demanding, and often unforgiving. It helps them build healthy relationships, strong character, and calm hearts.

Family Reflection
Why is tolerance difficult in today’s fast world?
How can our family show more patience with one another?
How does God’s tolerance toward us teach us how to love others?

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your patience and unconditional love toward us. Teach our family to be tolerant, kind, and understanding with one another. Help us to slow down, listen, and give grace, just as You do for us every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
