Strength While You Wait
π Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
βBut those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.β
My Dear Children,
Waiting in the Bible is not passive. It is active trust. Isaiah teaches that those who wait on the Lord do not grow weaker; they grow stronger. Waiting is not sitting idle. It is leaning on God daily.
Psalm 27:14 says, βWait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart.β Courage and waiting go together. While we wait, God works in us.
Sometimes we think strength comes when the answer arrives. But often strength comes while we are still waiting.
Relevance to Life and Family
Children may wait for results, improvement, or change. Parents may wait for provision or clarity. During that waiting season, God is shaping character, endurance, and trust.
A family that waits on the Lord grows stronger together.
Family Reflection
What does it mean to wait on the Lord?
Have we ever grown stronger during a waiting season?
How can we encourage each other while we wait?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, renew our strength as we wait on You. Help our family remain courageous and faithful in every season. Teach us that waiting is not weakness, but trust in action. In Jesusβ name, Amen.
I will wait on the Lords doing, with trust, faith and believing He has the best for me, but while waiting, what is my response? Am i complaining that God has delayed or trusting that His delay is actually not HIS denial. As the children of God we must wait unto the Lord with TRUST.
Waiting on the Lord is not passive complaining β it is active trust. It means preparing, growing, praying, and believing that His timing is perfect. Delay is not denial, and it is not punishment.
