Light in a Dark World

πŸ“– John 1:5 (NKJV)

β€œAnd the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

My Dear Children,
Jesus came as the light into a world filled with darkness. Darkness can mean fear, sadness, or confusion, but Jesus’ presence brings clarity, hope, and guidance. Even when people did not understand Him, His light continued to shine.

No matter how difficult or uncertain life may feel, Jesus’ light cannot be overcome. It gives direction, comfort, and courage to all who follow Him.

Relevance to Life and Family:
Families also face dark moments β€” disagreements, fears, or challenges. When we invite Jesus into our hearts and homes, His light guides our decisions, calms our hearts, and restores peace. A family walking in His light reflects love, patience, and hope to one another and to the world.

Family Reflection:
What are the dark or confusing moments in our family life?
How can we let Jesus’ light guide us in these situations?
What can we do as a family to reflect His light to others?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus as the light of the world. Help us to follow His light in our daily lives. Shine in our hearts and our home, and help us share Your light with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
