Finishing What You Start
π 2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV)
βI have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.β
My Dear Children,
Commitment is not only about starting strong. It is about finishing faithfully.
The apostle Paul did not say he started the race. He said he finished it. Many people begin with excitement, but commitment is proven at the end. It is staying with your responsibilities when the excitement fades.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, βThe end of a thing is better than its beginning.β God values endurance. He values completion. Whether it is homework, a responsibility at home, a friendship, or a spiritual goal β finishing matters.
Hebrews 12:11 reminds us that discipline may not seem joyful at the moment, but afterward it yields peaceable fruit. The βafterwardβ only comes if we continue.
Relevance to Life and Family
Children may start the school year motivated but lose focus later. Parents may begin family goals with energy but grow tired. Commitment means continuing even when motivation decreases.
A committed family does not leave things half done. It follows through.
Family Reflection
Do we usually start well but struggle to finish?
Why does God value endurance?
What is something our family needs to finish faithfully?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, teach our family to finish what we start. Give us endurance and perseverance. Help us remain committed until the work is complete. In Jesusβ name, Amen.
Amen,,
May all the students of our class make it to the end with flying colors

Thank you, Mr. Mutebi, for the incredible opportunity you have given us. This truly proves that TOTMIND is not just a school for technology, but also a family where we grow in different aspects of life. Many people in the tech field rely only on their knowledge and skills, but you have shown us something greater. You have reminded us that everything we gain at TOTMIND is rooted in God. The daily devotions continue to strengthen and build our spiritual lives.
As a TOTMinder, I have learned and discovered that in the beginning of everything, there is God. Thank you very much, sir
