Faithful in Secret

πŸ“– Matthew 6:6 (NKJV)

β€œBut you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place…”

My Dear Children,
Commitment is not only what others see. It is who we are when no one is watching.

Jesus teaches that true devotion happens in the secret place. Prayer is not for display. It is for relationship. A committed life is built privately before it is seen publicly.

1 Samuel 16:7 reminds us that β€œthe Lord looks at the heart.” While people notice actions, God examines motives. Real commitment is measured by sincerity, not applause.

Psalm 101:2 says, β€œI will walk within my house with a perfect heart.” Integrity begins at home. What we do in private shapes who we become in public.

Relevance to Life and Family
Children may behave well when watched, but true character is shown when they are alone. Parents model commitment by maintaining personal devotion, not only family worship.

A committed family values private faith as much as public faith.

Family Reflection
Who are we when no one is watching?
Do we pray and seek God privately?
Why does God value sincerity over performance?

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help our family develop genuine commitment. Teach us to seek You in the secret place and to live with integrity in private and public. Purify our hearts and strengthen our devotion to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faithful in Secret

Its true always God looks at our hearts, actions, behaviors, principles and how we treat others more so privately. its not about showing publicly how you treat and behave before the rest of us but whatever you do privately is what matters and that's what God judges.

That’s very true. What we do when no one is watching reveals our real character. Integrity is built in private, and that’s what truly defines us before God. Public image can be managed, but the heart cannot be hidden.

Who you are in private reveals your true character. The way you act when no one is watching reflects who you really are. Your private behavior defines your integrity. The real question is: can you be the same person in public as you are in private? If not, then there may be a gap between your character and your image. And God seek the true version of you.

That’s a very powerful message. It reminds us that true character is shown in private, not just in public. Integrity means being the same person whether people are watching or not. It challenges us to reflect on ourselves and strive to live genuinely and honestly at all times.
